Chamakh and Morocco to Face Central Africa

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has published Dominique Cuperly’s roster for the Atlas Lions’ upcoming African Cup of Nations qualifier versus the Central African Republic which will be played on September 4.

The Frenchman who is currently filling in for Eric Gerets has given Fettah Boukhris and Youssef El Arabi their first call-ups. Besides that, the squad is practically identical to the one that was assembled for Morocco’s 2-1 win over Equatorial Guinea on August 11.
“We’re going to have to be vigilant. We also have to show something and to do that we have to pull the best we can out of the group that’s at our disposal,” said Cuperly while speaking to Le Matin regarding the qualifier.
